Bedford Foundation Board

 The Bedford Foundation Board was restored in late 2005 and tasked with the challenge of raising money for Bedford’s ‘Homes for 100’ programme.

This programme will see Bedford addressing the enormous demand for additional supported accommodation options for South Australians with a disability. The goal over the next five years is to create 35 new homes with the capability of housing the first 100 people on our growing waiting list.

A State Government Grant announced in February 2006 committed $5 million to the project, subject to Bedford raising equivalent funds. Bedford is almost half way to meeting this challenge and the Foundation Board aims to raise the balance over the next three years.
