Automotive 101:

This hands-on course is designed to teach budding mechanics the basics of car repair and maintenance. This course is taught at Reynella and in the Riverland.

Community Services:

This accredited course covers OH&S, administration, communication behavior management, needs assessment and resource allocation.

IVEC:

This preparatory course is designed as an introduction to further study for students who may have experienced a long absence from education.

BEATS (Behaviour, Environment, Attitude, Trust, Support):

This course teaches students how to identify various emotions and provides them with the skills to apply appropriate coping behaviours when they feel angry.

Let’s Go:

Our SA Learner’s Permit course provides participants with fun activities to prepare for their Learner’s Permit test. The programme covers road rules, road signs, speed limits, parking, intersections, crossings and practising for the test

Community Development:

This accredited course covers five subjects from the Community Services Certificate including support community resources and preparing for work in the community services sector.

Skateboard Art:

Participants are taught a variety of skills including teamwork as they create their own designs to apply to a skateboard.

Play to Spray:

This course is teaches panel beating to young people interested in learning more practical skills.

Music Programme:

This practical programme focuses on making music with a variety of instruments including a basis in music theory which boosts participants’ confidence.

‘Abilities for All’:

This diverse and wide reaching programme provides learning pathways for South Australian job seekers with disability or disadvantage who face significant barriers to learning, training and work.  Courses cover life skills, language, literacy and numeracy in a supportive environment.Available at community centres in Salisbury, Port Pirie, Reynella and Taperoo.

Specialist Disability Training:

The in-house version of ‘Abilities for All’ is designed for Bedford employees with disability and covers planning and communication skills, working in a business environment, environmentally sustainable processes and life skills.
